Pigotta rag dolls in wedding gowns give hope to children
The initiative was sponsored by Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni and Unicef
immagine Not just business, but charitable initiatives and social responsibility as well – once again, EXPOCTS and Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni included an event dedicated to the poor and needy into the exhibition schedule. This time it was Unicef’s "Pigotte-Spose" – rag dolls in bridal wear. Sixteen brides and three bridegrooms were displayed in an area decorated by designer Luca Sacchi, dressed in apparel specially made for the occasion by their creative manufacturers, and were sold to the highest bidders through a silent auction. All the proceeds were donated to Unicef.
